This week President Ross provided an update on the cycle challenge and advised members that the board and cycle committee, in consultation with C.Ex, have decided to cancel this year’s event. However are very hopeful it will resume in 2020.
Graham Lockett provided an update on the Bunker development and advised it is progressing well.
Jay and President Elect Paul left the meeting early to drive to Bishop Druitt College to present the medals for the primary school chess competition. Our club has supported this competition of 20 years and it was pleasing to see it still going strong.
Secretary Geoff asked all members to RSVP as soon as possible for the Club’s
Changeover night on 6 July. Geoff also reminded members that there will be no meeting next Monday due to the long weekend.
