This week we celebrated a return to sunny weather by shedding the rainy days blues. Immediate Past President Terry Maguire was the chair of today’s meeting.
Mike Blewitt advised he had sent 125 emails regarding the Charity Golf Day. He also advised that he’s received positive feedback about the new date of 1st July. Otherwise all is progressing well.
Ross Paul mentioned a District 9600 initiative of a club development and visitation tour of India later this year. Ross also reminded members that next week’s meeting will be at The Bunker Cartoon Gallery.
Peter Lindsay reminded members to buy a RAWCS sticker, and accosted those few poor souls who hadn’t already done so!
Paul McKeon advised he and other from the Bunker Cartoon Gallery board will be meeting with the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and General Manager to discuss the potential upgrade and improvement of the Bunker building.
Stan Paull advised that he and John Donaldson are progressing with the Rotary service sign on the highway. He said the sign is generally sound but needs a coat of paint and new signwriting. They will obtain quotes and design options from local sign companies.
We then spent some time discussing the Jetty Foreshores project, with a hands-on demonstration from Sam Wardman, the owner of Cornerpost Marketing, of how to access the feeback site and leave comments.
For all that and more, be sure to check out this week’s edition of the Coffs City Chatroom.
