After a long Christmas/New Year break, we were back in action this week.
Paul McKeon advised members of the upcoming exhibition at the Bunker Cartoon Gallery featuring the first Australian superhero, The Phantom. Paul is looking for a carpenter/handyman to help with the construction of part of this exhibition. If you know of anyone who may be able to assist please give us a call.
Eddie Chau advised that he and President Terry attended the Cancer Unit of the Coffs Harbour Health Campus to do the official presentation of our donation of the Delphin D Moisture Meter, a result of the proceeds from the B.I.G. Golf Charity Day. This event was covered by the NBN News of the day. Have a look.
President Terry read out an email he received from our 2015/2016 National Youth Science Forum attendee, Remy Bordignon. Remy advised what had developed in his life as a result of his experience at the NYSF. Remy’s letter was a great endorsement of the program and further encouragement for our club to make sure we have applicants attend this forum every year.
For all that and more, be sure to check out this week’s Coffs City Chatroom.
