Occasionally we like to take the time to go somewhere new for a meeting. We call these “vocational visits” but really they’re an opportunity to take in a new location and – usually – learn something about an industry or workplace that we otherwise wouldn’t get a chance to visit.
This time around, we were fortunate enough to be hosted by Todd Blewitt, son of our Rotarian Mike, and owner of Mike Blewitt Isuzu.
Todd and his team put on a wonderful spread for us before giving us some fascinating insights about the car industry, the rise of China as both a manufacturer and customer and the efficiency of German manufacturing.
