Weekly Meeting 26 November 2018

George Cecato recently returned from Argentina and reported on a few matters from council, particularly regarding Coffs Airport. The current lease/license expires in March and a major decision has to be made by council on the future of the airport’s operational structure. The matter will be discussed at the next council meeting and please check councils web site for the meeting

Paul McKeon reported that the Bunker was recently nominated as a finalist in the recent Sunny Awards and the State and Regional Tourism Awards. It also received a big ‘gong’ at the recent Australian Cartoonists Association AGM for its contribution to cartooning. The Bunker manager, Margaret Cameron, attended this function in Canberra on behalf of the Bunker and accepted the award.

The Bunker board are having a Christmas Rock & Roll party on 8th December. All club members are invited to this function. A grand night is guaranteed and the Bunker board expects all members to attend this function.
